Ok, I thought that upgrading from my little 9000 BTU unit to a 14000 unit would really make a difference in my house. Guess again. IT WAS ONLY MARGINALLY BETTER than my good old 9K unit,but it sure made a difference in my utility bills. So basically is a power hungry box that doesn't work harder. I guess 14000 BTU that's so clearly advertized is an indication of how much electricity it consumes and not how much cooling power it has. It's really not the niceset looking device either. I wonder why it's the only "14,000" BTU portable product on the market, maybe they'll have a "16,000" BTU product soon. I can't wait to upgrade to that!
