My wife bought the Toastmaster 1740 blender in late Dec. to blend soups and juices as recommended by her dietician. These are only powders that are added to water, yet the blender broke after only a short period. I would hate to see how long it would last, if you tried to blend something "heavy" like a milkshake. I know the product isn't a high-end blender, but come on.....a couple of months stirring water? No wonder their warranty sucks!
