QuickTake:

Pros: Impressive audio and video quality. Solid build. Eliminating analog connectors and processors reduces complexity and, theoretically, the possibility of interference. Disc playback resumes after powering off.
Cons: As laggy at loading discs as most other Blu-ray players. Overly large, badly balanced remote control. Unit is relatively slow to pick up on remote control commands. A thousand bucks can buy some pretty nice speakers or go a long way toward a TV instead.
