I bought the 4200 and have had excellent results. Charter communications works fantastic with this product, in fact they are the same model they rent for their service. I have had no problems with the modem and configuring it to work with my computer.

Product works - but not dependable for long downloads. Needs to be configerable and more user friendly. P&P is great for a printer but not a modem.

QuickTake:

Pros: Price of product

Comments:
My first Motorola experience was with a dialup modem. They wouldn't support flash ROM upgrade though the model was less than a year old and came up with new feature/functionality. Okay, fine...perhaps an isolated case. I then resorted to buying the SB4200

QuickTake:

Pros: When it isn't defective, it works great. Firewall button.
Cons: Customer Support at Motorola is horrendous.
