I'v actually had this a little over a year. Last week it just quit.
If mine was the only one that died, I probably wouldn't have a problem.
My son had the same one and his also quit. I have another son that works
at Radio Shack and they had a customer bring one back because his quit.
This seems to be a trend with these devices. I can't speak for anyone else,
but if I spend that kind of money on something, I expect it to last more
that a year and a half.
Sorry guys.. Three strikes and you're out.

This is a great wireless cable modem for the average user. But in my household it has a problem. We have 5 wireless laptops and usually they are all downloading music, surfing the internet bla bla bla all at the same time. This is fine, but when i try to play a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) It gets overloaded and freezes for a few minutes kicking me out of the game, and it does this about every half hour to 45 minutes when playing the game. When certain cordless phones in my house are used, it will disrupt the signal coming from the router. I know this because when my mother answers the phone in her bedroom, the link to the cable modem is immediatly lost.
This is a cheap wireless modem. Good for the average user, but not great with high traffic. I can get the signal of my neighbors Netgear router from accross the street, but i have trouble getting a signal from The Linksys wireless modem from being in just the other room! If you have a high wireless traffic enviroment, you should consider buying a microsoft wireless modem if you can find one, or somthing from a more prestigeous company.
QuickTake:
Pros: Easy Setup And Configuration
Cons: Floods when playing high bandwidth games and freezes
