QuickTake:

Pros: Good ergonomics and stylish design. DIGIC processing produces characteristically warm Canon skin tones. Inclusion of 0.6x wide lens and 22x optical zoom is a bonus. Low cost is a major plus.
Cons: Access to manual focus and exposure too much of a fiddle. High tape transport noise. A clearer B&W viewfinder would have been preferable to the low-res colour one. 440x digizoom useless.
