This camera offers play-back with sound. Easy to use! Battery life is short - seems to die within 2 hours. Hard to find the cassette insert to play directly in the VCR. Overall does what it needs to do for the money spent!

It is a great entry level cam. However do not expect it to give you a clear picture on a sunny day with shadows, unless you zoom in. The optical, which sounds great, is not usable. You can not keep the image in focus or still. I like the easy of using

This is my second one,so reliability might be an issue. The first one ate a tape. Buy it with your c/c for a double warranty and be religious with tape removal/insertion. I bought a SonyDigital8 and it woudn't take good pix indoors in average light so I g
