Camera is amazing for exploring the ability of SLRs since everything about it calls for manual operation. Most affordable camera. Multiple exposures may not always be in a single frame (may overlap). Not the best camera for fast action photography, and finding a good flash for it isn't always easy. All in all, a perfect amatuer/student camera.
QuickTake:
Pros: gives you full controll over light and focus of the exposure
Comments:
I purchased my Nikon FM10 about 2 months ago. It's a really nice camera and totally manual. None of that auto crap, you're completely in control. The only downside is you have to buy a flash for it if you want one, batteries, filters, etc.
QuickTake:
Pros: Good starter or professional camera. Easy to use.
Cons: really non that i have discovered.

Looks and performs very good, price is less then i spend on coffee in one month. You have to to have some knowlege of photography before you get a good results, and when you do you will be pleased. The camera is totaly mannual and it is all in your hands, one thing i don't like about it is that is impossible to focus in the low light or a wery bright light if you use it in a bright light the subject should face the light, and don't get in the lens, also use grey cards to get the f- stop correct.
QuickTake:
Pros: Great camera, I learned my SLR photography with it.
Cons: Impossible to focus in a low light.
