Quality of the Alpine Type R 10

I bought this woofer for a ported box with lots of air space to fit in place of my console in my 2001 GMC extended cab truck. From experience compared to the Sony Xplod and the Infinity 10", this speaker alone with the ported box put out 146 db's. No lie
