I have had many other speakers that has let me down by blowing, or just simply not delivering the bass that I am looking for. JL has met the challenge and the some by a very reliable and serious bass dropping speaker. I have had JL subs and amps in 4 vehicles, a Mustang drop top, Pathfinder, Mazda 626, and my last a Dodge ram 1500. All of them did nothing less than knock a nasty lick that made heads turn and other systems wet their pants. I am a JL head. I have owned the 12W-7 for 2 years, however I have been using JL for years.
