HTC G1 Android Smartphone - T-Mobile, Black
The T-Mobile G1 is great. The iPhone is better.
T-Mobile G1 (Google Android Phone)
The first Google phone, T-Mobile's G1, doesn't have a ton of features. But that's okay; it'll grow.
The Google Phone: G1 is born today
So here it is: Google's long-awaited mobile phone. Rumours started solidifying about 18 months ago... and today the G1 phone on the T-Mobile was formally announced. With Sergey Brin and Larry Page on roller-skates...
Review Verdict: How can the Amazon app better Apple? TV and video, says VentureBeat. Even better, MySpace's very imminent Music store is powered by Amazon and there would seem to be a natural extension onto mobile... but MySpace says that's not the case because it is sti
Google G1 Android mobile phone: review
Google's first foray into the world of mobile phones is much better than I had anticipated.

Review Verdict: One special feature that we did not get to see is the Digital Compass, which T-Mobile said works with Google Street View to give a 3D representation of the street you are on if you tilt the phone up
HTC G1
Android will change the game, and while far from perfect, the G1 is more than compelling. I have a list of complaints a mile long but they’re overshadowed by how fun the Android user experience is on the T-Mobile G1.
Review Verdict: I personally am very happy to be playing with the G1, but more excited for whatever comes next. The G1's size, weight, lack of 3.5mm headphone jack, and disappointing keyboard make me a little hesitant to jump immediately onto the bandwagon and buy a G1

The first mobile phone powered by Google was launched yesterday, ready to do battle with Apple's iPhone for the top spot on many people's Christmas gift list.
Review Verdict: Google also hopes to take the lead over Apple by making Android “open source” — meaning that people will not be charged to use it on their handset or for writing applications for it.
