The phone's black sleek style with a silver strip around the phone is eye catching. The phone book holds 1,000 contacts with room in each entry for five phone numbers, an e-mail address, a company name and job title, a formal name and a nickname, a birthday, a street address, and notes. Other things that are a huge plus to this phone are vibrate mode, text and multimedia messaging, an alarm clock, a calendar, a to-do list, a notepad, and a calculator. Really cool features that this phone comes with also include voice commands and dialing; a speakerphone; PC syncing; POP3 and IMAP4 e-mail; AOL, Yahoo, and ICQ instant messaging; MySpace mobile; Bluetooth 2.0. USB mass storage; and support for AT&T's PTT network. One of the downfalls of this phone is the AT&T Music which does not allow you to download music wirelessly. You have to have them sent to your PC and then put them on your phone with the data cable or use the Memory Stick Micro. The navigation controls are large and well-designed, flush with the surface of the phone, and their large size makes them user-friendly. The camera and video quality aren't the best I've seen on phones in this range, but they're manageable. Overall the phone is worth getting for a teenager just getting into high school.

QuickTake:

Pros: I liked the analog clock on the mini screen, but I had wished it would've stayed there a little longer. I also thought the key layout was good with the exception of the ability not to be able to change the PTT button to something different, since I wasn't using that feature.
Cons: As mentioned above, the PTT button really irritates me as I keep bumping it and it keeps trying to activate the service that I don't have/use. I also don't linke the fact that the connector for the recharger is so short and skinny. Mine got bent the second day I had it. I was still able to use it, but it seamed very delicate and easy to break.

Nokia 6555 review: 3G with a flip

Comments:
Subdued elegance and decent feature set give Nokia 6555 its edge in the crowded midrange. The two quality displays and great keypad provide for comfortable handling, while 3G support adds to the excitement with this elegantly tall and sleek clamshell...

Review Verdict: Nokia 6555 is a midrange 3G-enabled handset, joining the clamshell ranks of the Finnish company. The form factor inevitably brings back memories of the likeable push-to-open Nokia 6131. Nokia 6555 lacks the auto-open functionality but the 3G support is on

Nokia 6555

Comments:
