Review Verdict: A dedicated music key effortlessly calls up Samsung's media player, which relies on the Pocket Windows Media Player 10 engine but adds a few touches including caching songs from the hard drive to memory and separates music volume control from the overall

Comments:
The Samsung player refused to sort album songs by track number, and Windows Media Player insisted on buffering songs before playback - not the end of the world, but a pain if tracks flow into each other. In all, quite basic and for US$650 there are better

Comments:
The first hard disk phone hits the shelves - here's what we think of it.

QuickTake:

Pros: Three gigabytes of space might not seem huge but it is a massive leap on from most other handsets out there and easily enough to hold around 1,000 songs.
Cons: Whilst navigation around the phone is pretty straight forward and makes good use of the jog wheel, it isn't as straight forward as the standards set by the iPod.
