Area to pour the water into is very small and hard to pour into. When you open the lid to pour in the water the condensation has nowhere to go but the cabinet. After coffee is made the coffee maker makes noises that sound like one of my cats is trying to throw up. It's a hacking sound. Programming is difficult the time just runs right past where you want it to be. It took me 4 tries to get the timer set for morning coffee. The last model was MUCH better!

The design is sleek and clean looking although I will never use the timer feature. The coffee sits overnight and looses flavor. I got a great deal for this with the coffee, you cant go wrong especially if you need extra brew for the holidays.

I have recommended it to all my friends since I recieved it. I love the coffee that came with and the coffee maker itself. I love the fact that I can set the tmer and coffee will be ready in the morning for me. How cool is that.

I was a little disappointed with the coffee maker in general. The clock is tiny, the opening for the water is tiny, but the coffee maker is too tall to fit under my cabinet. The coffee has a funny taste. All flavors have the same funny taste that isn't too noticeable, but it's there and I figure it has to do with the processing they use at Gevalia. I love a few different coffee varieties. I buy coffee beans in bulk and get better coffee for a better price than they offer.

The coffee maker will make as few as two cups or as many as 12. So it is great for daily use or when guests arrive. However, it does take a special cone filter that is most easily purchased from Gevalia because they are not readily available in many places that sell only bowl type filters. We use our coffee maker every day.

The modern design matches other kitchen appliances and so adds a nice contemporary look to the kitchen. The programming is very easy to use. It would be nice to have a little power back-up to keep the clock running during short power failures, but that's not a big deal. The quick brewing time is a nice addition. The shape of the drip container keeps the water concentrated in the center of the coffee.
