This is an excellent coffee maker. The plastic grinder lid that locks has broken twice. We just ordered our third lid, however it was not expensive. We love this coffee maker.

I have had two of these coffee makers, and love the convenience and the coffee. <br>The safety clasp on the 1st coffee maker broke after about 2 years of use. I bought another one immediately. The second one broke the same part after 1 - 2 years use

I have owned the Melitta mill and brew for several years and like it very much, however, the plastic parts and grinder have a tendency to break. What I like most is that the grinder has 7 settings. I like a very fine grind and this coffeemaker delivers
