Comments:
I feel like I've been ripped off by not getting the 10 cup maker I purchased. Every other maker uses 5 to 6 oz for
a cup measurement (most 5oz) KitchenAid uses 4.25oz making a 10 cup out of a 8 cup machine.
The other negative is even after pre heating
QuickTake:
Pros: Design
Cons: 10 cup is everyone elses 8 cup and coffee not hot
Comments:
Just love this coffee maker! Makes the best tasting coffee of all the coffee makers I have owned over the years, either with the included gold tone filter or with paper filters. After 2 hours the warming plate turns off, but the thermal carafe keeps coffee hot for several hours after this. NO bitter taste after four hours. Very easy to fill with water and coffee without making a mess. No overflow problems. Very easy to read buttons. My husband's eyesight is not very good, but he has no trouble filling the unit and making the coffee.
Only negative I have found: Advertised as a 10-cup coffe maker, but actually only holds about six 8 oz. cups. Unit could be a little larger since the coffee tastes so good!
QuickTake:
Pros: Best coffee maker I have owned!
Cons: Could have larger Capacity.
