Mr. Coffee FTTX85 Coffee Maker

This is the best coffee maker I have owned, however, it is the first stainless steel thermos model I have owned also, so I don't know if there are better. It keeps my coffee hot for 2 hrs, and by then the coffee is bitter and I am finished with it. The timer and clock work well. I like the filter and ease of use (hit one button).

Had two momths and today the clock wouldn't stay set and then the lines on the clock started flashing. The brew light was the only light that would come on but it would not brew. Last month my sister in laws starting leaking out the bottom and wouldn't brew because the water wouldn't pump up. wish I had known about hers before we received ours.

The unit is very attractive with a slim design. Upon pouring the first cup, the coffee barely emits steam. After the first cup, the coffee is barely luke warm. Although it is called a 10 cup machine, you are lucky to get 2 1/2 to 3 cups (mug size) out of it, before the coffee barely drips out of the pot. The button to push in order to release coffee barely moves, and the coffee comes out in a dribble. I have used this pot twice, and will be returning it. If you want a steaming hot cup of coffee, this is not the machine for you.

THE CARAFE WON'T KEEP THE COFFEE HOT....JUST LUKE WARM AFTER 10 TO 15 MINUTES OF SITTING .... IT WOULD ONLY WORK FOR ME IF I BREWED A CUP AT A TIME.....BUT WHAT'S THE POINT...?
