This is a compact kit that lets you attach a 3.5" IDE/ATA drive, a 2.5" IDE/ATA drive, and the SATA equivalents to either a Mac or PC. The device has proven to work well. I had another similar model that stopped working well for 2.5" drives, but I don't know how reliable this model is. So far, it works well, but I recommend to take extra care, and treat is gently, to get long use out of it.
