Excellent LCD for laptop users

Great Choice

This is a wonderful monitor. I checked out Consumer Reports and this was not rated as high as the Viewsonic 720. When I compared them side by side the NEC seemed to have a better picture. I love it.

Best 17" LCD ever?

Fantastic sharpness. Great contrast. Very bright. Fast response time. Cool stand. The only downsides are the cost ($500 after rebate for a 17" LCD), the fact that you can't mount the monitor to a monitor arm or on the wall. External charger and no DVI
