I bought mine refurbished online. I teach special education and used it for small quanitiy classroom copies and for copying meeting documents. I was excited to have a multiple copy feeder, but that was the first part to malfunction and then quit. The copier itself started making greyer and greyer copies until they were so dark they were unusable. I wasted a lot of money trying alternate toner cartridges, thinking it was because they were generic. Teachers cannot afford to waste money on our equipment.
QuickTake:
Pros: copier itself worked with light use in classrm for 2 1/2 yrs
Cons: document feeder quit, dark copies, unreadable copies

We had our unit for a few short weeks and the dreaded black line showed up on every printed page. We took it back to the store we purchased it from and after several weeks of the same nonsense it is now being used as an oversized paper weight.
This is the worst impersonation of a printer fax and scanner multi unit. I have tried two fo them myself and after talking to several people ... they have had the same problems.
I only have two words for those thinking about purchasing this ... STAY AWAY!!!

Our copier is now about a year and half old. About 5 months ago, it began to leave dark lines on the printed-paper. I talked to tech support, who suggested that we replace the drum. We did, and that worked for 3 days, then back to the lines. Next step was to take it to a repair shop, 70 miles away, where the starting price would cost almost as much as it would be to buy a new machine.
We're incredibly disappointed that this copier only lasted 1 1/2 years. We didn't know we were buying a disposable piece of equipment.
QuickTake:
Pros: Worked...for a couple of months
Cons: Broke...within a couple of months
