I built this system some time ago when my old MSI board burned out. The AMD Athlon 2500+ w/ Barton core CPU is very awesome. I overclocked it to 2200 MHz from the original 1800 MHz and it is running about the same temperature as before. Definately use

disciple of its' masters. I suggest that a mainboard with NForce2 chipset,dual band DDR,FSB 400...dual 512 MB DDRram for duplicate bandwith...Setup and go....

The Athlon xp 2500+ Barton core works just as well with the Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro mainboard. Yes MSI and ASUS are great boards and i have no complaints with them, but you cant bash Gigabyte on anything. MSI boards are built for the home consumer to be abl

This CPU is fast.... cool and very cheap at it's performance. it is faster than any Intel CPU I tested. Maybe (Not sure) only Intel p4 @ 3.0 Ghz is faster but Not at this price.!!!! I do not recommend Giga-Byte mainboards for These CPUs. MSI / ASUS

well i got it, it rocks, it runs @ 2.0 ghz @ 36 degrees celcius (not sure what that is in farenhiet but it is around 95)and it was cheap and the nforce loves it! wish ram was cheaper for nforce but oh well if ya wanna play ya gotsta pay! Get one!!
