A Low Cost Work of the Art ... (Stable with Gigabyte VT600)

This thing is really great. Overclocked easily (Not recommanded for further than 11x190). I use a Gigabyte VT600 mainboard and 512 MB of DDR-400 RAM and the results were quite more than satisfactory.

I am a software and web developer, but also interested in multimedia and gaming. So my CPU was put to some very difficult tests and it just happened to be fine and perfect.

I am getting all that I wanted from this CPU. But I believe if you don't consider the price as a deterrent factor, you may also like to think seriously about intel's new CPUs with HT technology available @ 2.44,2.66,2,80 and 3,2 GHz.

I hope AMD does something about this new invention from intel.

Bought it because it was the lowest priced Barton thinking I could upgrade later and was impressed with the speed as stock - but then...

I FOUND OUT THAT YOU CAN OVERCLOCK IT WITH A REGULAR HEATSINK/FAN TO EQUAL A ATHLON 3200+! YOWZA! I DON'T NEED TO UPGRADE LATER AFTER ALL! MONEYSAVINGMUNGUS!

AMD Athlon XP 2500+ 333Mhz 512KB L2 Cache. Faster than the 2600+ because of the L2 Cache. Can overclock it to 3000+.

Best at low price AMD is a Dream

This CPU runs 3Dmark and Mpeg Encoder Faster than P4 @2.66 ghz !!!!

When overlclocked then flys.

It is the best choice for small servers and gaming PCs.

Multi-tasking on this CPU made me remember AMIGA and MACINTACSH .Very nice.

Use Nforece based mainboards :MSI K7N2/Solteck FRN2/ASUS A7N2 deluxe
