Pros: Easy to use. With the drain hose, you don't even have to worry about emptying the bucket.
Cons: Before we hooked up the drain hose, the bucket was hard to get out without spilling some of the water.

We are using the dehumidifier in the basement. The old one you could hear through the floor and we had to unplug it at night in order to get some sleep. This one is very quite, we cannot hear it running from the main floor of our home. It is cool in our basement and it has not froze up at all. It is easy to program also.
