After doing some research, I was fortunate to find this product very reasonably priced at a local home improvement store. Now, I wish I had purchased three! This dehumidifier is the quietest around. It has operated continuously for 85% of the past year without incident. The 6 litre bucket does not provide the best capacity for continuous operation, but the noise(less) factor wins out hands down.

Unit removed a lot of moisture, However, the fan never shuts off! Even when the compressor is off and no moisture is being removed, the fan continues to run. After nearly a full day of frustration and two non answered e-mails I finally reached someone who told me, "Oh that's the way it is supposed to operate." Be sure to read the service and warranty before deciding on this unit.

I have used the dehumidifier nonstop for almost 2 years. It dose pull out allot of moister from the air, and dose
<br>have a removable "filter". BUT there is no access to the back area to do a better cleaning of the unit.
<br>Therefore the unit clogged with lint and dust and slowly just stop working. I tried to vacuum the back area but
<br>it was impossible to suck out that dirt and lint from the metal coil/filter in back of the unit.

<br>they would try to repair at $45.00 and hour and I would have to pay $75.oo in return postage.... now I'm

We bought this dehumidifier based on the reviews posted here and we couldn't be happier. We keep it in our family room and it doesn't compete with the tv. Our previous dehumidifier had to be kept in a seperate room because it was so loud.
It works great, especially with the high humidity of summer.
