I bought this camera three years ago and have played with the more current xti model as well. The buttons are easy to navigate and Canon, as always, has great color/picture quality. Not much has changed with the newer model (mainly the amount of megapi

However, we were surprised to find the 350D offers PictBridge support because we think most enthusiasts or professionals (who are most likely to buy this model) will want to look at their images up-close and personal, in some sort of image editing package

The camera is great, for the price. I'm very much an amateur, and I'm sure I'm not getting all that I could out of the camera, yet. I've heard complaints that the camera is too light, but I like the weight -- I was actually expecting it to be much lighter, considering the reviews I read. The controls aren't as intuitive as they could be. The guide is a little hard for the layman to understand, so it's taken me awhile to figure out how to do some simple things, with the camera. I find myself wondering, "Why can't I turn off the flash in this mode?" "Why can't I adjust the ISO in this mode?" Maybe I can, but I haven't found a way, so far, and the guide is kind of thick... and tiny. But I have taken some great photographs, with it.
