"This week, I gave my camera (Canon A560) to a relative whose camera broke suddenly. This purchase (Canon A570) is a replacement for the camera a gave away... and a modest upgrade. I am loyal to this product line from Canon because of the audible shutter effects, the AA-battery power source, the SD memory card format, the stereo-mini jack connection to video equipment (TV, DVD recorder, VCR), and the viewfinder plus LCD screen combination. The combination of ALL these features in one camera is rare, but I've found I really want all of them. I previously purchased an Olympus FE-115 because it was slightly smaller.
