If all you want to do is have a small camera to grab and take some happy snaps, then this is ideal. I haven't investigated the full feature range, and I suspect that the majority of people buying this camera won't, so if it's evaluated with that in mind, it's a little champ. If you want to take professional quality photos, then you'd be better buying a pro camera, but that's not what we're talking about here.

Pros: Grandma was snapping away almost immediately. Low learning curve!

Cons: Not too much. Probably a bit basic for photo purists, but it's great as a point and shoot.

Great Camera for the Money

I bought this camera for my 16 year old daughter; she loves it for its size and style. It is easy for her to take photos and movies and download them to her computer. The photo quality is good. It is easy to use and the battery were the same as the earlier model so there was no need to buy new batteries. A great all around point and shoot camera for everyday use. Compact in size good photo and video quality. Large LCD display for viewing photos and videos. Battery life is good. A great camera for the price.
