Product Rating: 4 star(s) Great if you need a good, compact wide angle

, Oct. 27, 2007
Comments:
I use this for business. It is compact enough to put in your pocket, but big enough to be able to hold it and not feel like a toy. Some buttons are small, but overall, very easy to use. I need a wide angle, which is becoming rare, except for the big, SLR

Product Rating: 5 star(s) Great camera

, Aug. 14, 2007
Comments:
I finally switched from a film camera to the 800 IS. It takes great pictures and I print them up myself on an Epson Picture Mate and get beautiful, sharp pictures. It's easy to crop them and I love the image stabilizer. I am not much of a photographer

QuickTake:

Pros: IS, easy to use, like having a viewfinder. Big screen.
Cons: Battery gives you only a one-picture warning.

If you are looking for the flexibility of a larger camera in a pooint and click, this is it. It's a 7.1 MP camera, and have a 3.8 optical zoom(one of the best in its class). Quite simply, it looks great, feels great and works great.

I own the

I first purchased the Canon SD900. It was a good camera, but needs image stabilization. If you are taking still shots in fair to good lighting it is a good camera. Well, with 4 kids (three of them 2 year old triplets), life does not stand still for a pic
