Product Rating: 8 star(s) Best picture quality among point and shoot (easy to use) cameras.

, May. 8, 2008
Comments:
This is a great point and shoot camera. The shutter speed is fast and it takes great pictures, even in low light settings. The battery power is also impressive. I would definitely buy this camera again.

QuickTake:

Pros: Photo quality. Especially night time. Fast shutter speed. Many built in settings.
Cons: Not a professional camera. Not as slim as some consumer cameras.

Product Rating: 8 star(s) An impressive point and shoot with overall good price performance ratio

, May. 8, 2008
Comments:
Addition of shutter and aperture priority and increased maximum exposure duration up to 15 seconds would have made this camera ideal for the beginners in serious photography.

QuickTake:

Pros: Big (biggest) sensor size and impressive ISO are two big pluses for this camera.
Cons: Body and make are lows of the camera.... appears as a plastic camera from the front.

Fujifilm has announced a new model that joins the F20, F30 and F31fd in the growing FinePix 'F' range. The F40fd offers an increased pixel count (8.3 MP) and (perhaps because of this) a slightly lower ISO 2000 maximum sensitivity, and Fuji's new Face Dete

Finepix's new F40fd 8.3mp camera produces better photos than some 10mp models we've looked at - with Fujifilm concentrating on the quality of what's captured, not its quantity.
