In south Africa without a camera

Comments:
The lens locked up on the camera wouldn't work after taking a 17 hour plan trip to S.A.. sent in to be repaired. IT took 13 working days. Got the camera back had for a week, and tried to see pix on TV didn't work. Sent the camera back to Nikon for repairs

Two things I like about this camera ... 8X optical zoom and ability to capture image in RAW fpromat (You will find this in Digital SLR only).. Good construction .. But too complex .. You need to monk the whole manual , I guess. Poor auto focusing in low

Great Camera

The size and shape is perfect for those accumstomed to regular SLR camera styles, so if you're switching mediums, this will be an easy transition. Excellent picture quality and does great for up close wildlife photography.
