Olympus Stylus 710 Review

Comments:
Olympus' answer to increasingly small cameras is to make their line of compact cameras even more compact. And here it is. The Stylus 710 has 7 megapixels, a 2.5 inch LCD, 3x optical zoom and a weatherproof body. However, it has no manual controls and targ

Review Verdict: The Stylus 710 has 7 megapixels in a stylish and somewhat sturdy all-weather body which resists scratches. Though it has nice things like a large LCD with good visibility, there always seems to be a downside to every positive thing on the Stylus 710. In t

Olympus Stylus 710

Comments:
The Stylus 710 ($349) is the latest addition to Olympus' line of ultra-compact, weatherproof cameras. Being 0.8 inches thick, the 710 is the thinnest camera yet in the Stylus series. Other features on the camera include a 7.1 Megapixel CCD, 3X optical zoo

Review Verdict: As you can see, battery life on the Stylus 710 is about average. It's probably not a bad idea to get a spare battery, though be warned: they cost around $50 a pop. Unfortunately, all of the super-thin cameras use batteries like this (Pentax makes a few AA

The Mju 700 feels more like plastic than metal, but at least it slips neatly into your pocket

Product Rating: 4 star(s) Olympus mju 700

Comments:
The mju 700 is the latest in Olympus' range of compact, no-fuss digital cameras, designed for beginners. It's attractively priced, but it lacks durability. There are nicer compacts available.

Review Verdict: The mju 700 is by no means a bad camera, but it doesn't perform as well as it should. It's reasonably priced and if you need an easy-to-carry camera that copes well in low light, this could be the one for you.
