This has been great for bird photography and very easy to use. I have found that when I zoom to the max I have to work more on focusing. When the camera first came out in 4/03 I paid $469. Now I see it at our local Fred Meyer store here in the NW for $

This camera is easy to use right out of the box. The image stabilizer feature is a must for taking pictures at full zoom without the need of a tripod. Like who wants to lug around a tripod everywhere they might want to take a picture. The camera is small
