Product Rating: 5 star(s) SONY CYBERSHOT DSC-H1

Comments:
is Sony's entry into the hotly contested market segment of 5 megapixel, 12x zoom cameras. Canon, Panasonic and Konica Minolta all have cameras with similar specifications

Review Verdict: We never thought we would say it of a camera with an electronic viewfinder, but this Sony is highly recommended. The 5 out of 5 rating is meant to indicate that it perfectly fulfils its intended purpose and is value for money.

Cons: A discrete Review button, rather than having to dial in Review on the mode dial, would be nice.

Review Verdict: There's no Memory Stick bundled in the box with the DSC-H1, but you can store up to 12 shots at the camera's highest resolution in its 32MB of built-in memory. In our battery tests, we took 306 shots between charges--an impressive total for a camera that

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H1

Comments:
Introduced in February 2005 (pre-PMA), the Cyber-shot H1 is Sony's attempt to win a share of one of the fastest growing digital camera market sectors, the 5 megapixel 'super zoom'. Although Sony has produced big zoom cameras before (the F828 and its prede

Review Verdict: Considering this is Sony's first foray into the increasingly crowded - and competitive - 5MP 'super zoom', whereas other manufacturers are already into their second or third generation models, the DSC-H1 is a very impressive, very mature product indeed.

Sony Cyber-shot H1

Comments:
Sony's first Cyber-shot ultra-zoom digital camera, the Sony Cyber-shot H1, packs some great features such as 12x image-stabilized optical zoom, a large 2.5 inch LCD, unlimited VGA 30 FPS movies, a jog dial and AF-assist beam.

Review Verdict: The Sony Cyber-shot H1 takes great stills and movies. Its 12x f2.8 - f3.7 lens is slightly slower than those on other ultra-zooms but is still of fairly high-quality. As compensation to not having a rotating LCD found on its closest competitor, the Canon

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H1 Digital Camera Review

Comments:
Consumers consistently demand better digital cameras.

Review Verdict: The H1 is up against some very stiff competition (the Canon Powershot S2 IS, the Konica Minolta Z5, and the Panasonic Lumix FZ5) in this very popular class. Competing models in the 5 megapixel monster zoom product niche are remarkably well match...

Top Point and Shoot Cameras: Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H1

Comments:
The DSC-H1's powerful 12X zoom brings you close to your subject, but images from the camera could look better.

Review Verdict: The large, comfortably formed, rubberized right-hand grip makes the DSC-H1 easy to use single-handed. A long, two-piece lens hood screws onto the lens, but you have to be careful when using it with the built-in flash--the hood casts a shadow in your photo
