Sony changed quite a few details, inside and out, between last year's H5 and this year's megazooms, the Cyber-shot DSC-H9 and DSC-H7. An f/2.7-4.5 31mm-465mm 15x supersedes the 12x zoom on last year's, and the resolution kicks up a notch from 7 to 8 megap

The recently released Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H7 fills the place of the H2 and is the slightly cheaper version of Sony's flagship superzoom model, the DSC-H9. Both sport a 15x zoom, which translates into a massive 31-465mm. As with most superzooms both of the

The Sony DSC H7 is among a number of cameras that are pushing the zoom boundaries. This model has a 15x optical zoom lens. It performed well in my tests in terms of picture quality. It also produced very low shutter lag times.

Review Verdict: This camera has a lot of good points. If I was looking for a super zoom camera this one would certainly make my short list. It was able to produce very fast shutter response times and includes a number of more advanced features.
