This is a great, affordable (below $250) camera with excellent battery life and picture quality. If you don't mind the slightly larger size then go for this one, you won't regret it. Sony is dependable and make lasting products.

After using the sony dsc-p72 for about a month, i like the overall function of the camera. The pictures i get back from the photo shop are of better quality than my old film camera. Also, you can crop and edit before you print. the movie mode is great

A good camera for most photographers ... but not meant for professionals. Sometimes takes very good pictures ... but occasionally poor ones too. Main reason is that exposure time is set too low at times.

after about 1 year the camera stopped working. after contacting Sony it would cost $171.00 just to have them look at it after i shipped it to TX. i have had several dig. cameras and this was the worst of them all stay away from the Sony's
