I ordered one of these cameras a week ago. They delayed my order until I called so that they could try to sell accessories to me. I did purchase some rechargeable batteries and a charger. I admit this is my fault for not paying attention but when the camera arrived yesterday, the bill was $162 instead of the $137 that was the price on your website. I will be calling them to see what is up but I want to warn others who may be tempted to deal with these folks. WATCH OUT!!

I love this camera and am thrilled with it. It is very easy to use, I love the pictures I get, and it has enough extra features: such as black & white and sepia settings, auto focus or not, zoom, ect. But, not too many features that it makes it difficult to use.

This is a very nice camera, it does what is asked of it, and more!..
The picures are exquisite, and all the menus are easy to follow after a while.
The only downside I found with the camera was, that is doesn't like hard knocks!... Mine was dropped accidentally on a carpeted floor, and the batteries burst through the lid, damaging the battery contacts, then snapping the very poor left catch on the lid. As a consequence, all this rendered the camera dead. I am hoping the new lid which had to be bought, will rectify this...

Although I have only had my A75 for about 10 days, I already love it!

Problems:
- the program i use on my computer is a little confusing. (But that isn't really the camera's fault)
- I've spent a lot of money on extra things for the camera. The camera itself was 250 (a great deal!) but another memory card, battery re-charger, and re-chargeable batters total up to about 125. It's okay since this camera will probably last me a long time, but still...... it's definitely not cheap.

Pros:
- great size. not too large but also not too small that it feels cheap. the weight doesn't bother me at all.
- the quality of the pictures is fantastic. for 3.2 megapixels it produces great pictures.
- well worth your money!!! not that much for a great camera
- very versitile. by that i mean that this camera can be used by a beginner (like me) but can also be used by a more advanced photographer. There are functions available for that kind of photographer that will work with their advanced level. In other words, it seems hard to grow out of this camera. And when you do, it will be after a couple years of photographs with this little gem.

Comparisson:
- When I bought this camera, I was choosing between the Canon Powershot A70, A75, and A80. The A75 seemed to be the best combination of all the cameras. The A70 sounded like it had too many problems and the A80 sounded too advanced and had too many gadgets. Also, the A80 was 50 more.

Overall well worth investing in this camera. A great buy for a great camera. Canon, you have a happy customer!!!

The entitled product is really cool..user friendly excellent picture/video quality...multiple features...a very good bet if you compare the price with the functionality. Albeit the pictures of far objects in dim light are not very good also Would be even better with more optical zoom.
