Product Rating: 4.00 star(s) Ready when needed, easy to use

Comments:
This product is excellent for amatuers, for people who are just starting out. First time users will adapt easily. Fun to use, portable and easy access. I would recommend, however, to get a camarera with a higher resolution and longer zoom distance. Maybe the modern version of powershot ps400(more expensive).15-21 second video recording is perfect for those rare moments that are fun to watch over and over again. it has a smart flash system. Dims down when outside and nice light for the inside shots. :)

QuickTake:

Pros: easy.plenty of space for those pictures for foooling around.
Cons: Light doesn't reach the distance the zoom reaches. fuzzy

Product Rating: 4.00 star(s) Canon Powershot

Comments:
Nice for beginners, but not for advanced users. For beginners it provides good quality shots with ease of use. But when trying more advance shots, such as motion shots and low light pics, user must hold camera extremely still or they will received blurr pics everytime.

QuickTake:

Pros: good pics, nice functionality, easy to use, good features
Cons: pics are blurred in low light or fast motion pictures

Product Rating: 4.00 star(s) Great entry level digital camera

Comments:
This camera is very small and very durable. Due to its metal frame, it's slightly on the heavy side for its size.

It's the type of camera you can take with you just about anywhere. It's perfect for taking to partys and other events as it can take a real beating without getting hurt.

2MP is good enough for most occations, and you can make very high quality prints in the sizes you're used to for your APS and 35mm cameras.

The AF Assist lamp is a definite advantage, as it allows you to take pictures in relatively low light, usually indoors. It sometimes happens that it can't lock focus, but the camera will still take a picture after a short pause, and usually with a good result at that. It's far from perfect, but it definitely gives you an edge over cameras that lack this small, but very important feature.

The battery capacity is not that great. With the LCD screen on, you can perhaps get somewhere between 50-120 pictures taken, all depending on how much you're idling in between. An extra battery is a must here. I shoot most of my pictures with the LCD screen off, and on that setting, the camera will still show you the resulting picture in the LCD screen for either 2 or 10 seconds (user selectable), so it's not really a problem. With the LCD screen off, you probably around double the amount of pictures you can take, possibly more, before you have to change the battery.

On maximum quality settings, your pictures will consume on average between 700kb to 1.1MB of space on your memory card. I've found the average to be just about 1MB per picture.

Product Rating: 4.00 star(s) Review for Canon PowerShot S200

Comments:
Compact, Lightweight, Quality Construction, Good Pictures, built-in lens cover, zoom, built-in flash, battery and charger included. I plan to purchase a spare battery and a larger memory card, but I would do that with any camera. I just wish that a case was included. I recommend the Bianchi 7801 small AccuCase instead of a soft case. I rate this camera Very good only because I don't own it long enough to rate it Excellent.

QuickTake:

Pros: Compact, Lightweight, Quality Construction
Cons: Case not included

Product Rating: 5.00 star(s) excellent point and shoot, backs up my prosumer Minolta

Comments:
navigation through menus very intuitive. Fast start time, fast focus and zoom. Very small size enables carrying with you everywhere. Manual controls enable creativity. If you want a point and shoot this is it. It is tough enough for your pocket and small enough to walk through a party and take pictures on the sly. First time out it fulfilled its duties and got some great shots.

QuickTake:

Pros: great features, compact, excellent fit and finish,
Cons: proprietary battery, no case, small memory card, no neck str

Product Rating: 4.00 star(s) Canon Powershot S200 an Impressive Little Camera

Comments:
I chose the S200 because it had 2.0 megapixel resolution capability--the minimum for high quality photos up to 8x10. I felt comfortable choosing Canon because of their reputation for producing high-quality optics and photographic equipment. My only complaint is that my indoor shots didn't always produce satisfactory results. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this camera. Given its price, I think that you'd had to pay almost double the price to get a better camera.

QuickTake:

Pros: Small size body; built-in lens cover; included USB cable
Cons: inconsistent results when shooting indoors

Product Rating: 5.00 star(s) Cannon PowerShot S200 is a hit!

Comments:
The PowerShot S200 was our first digital camera. We have found it to be of high quality and have been very pleased with the results. Printing your own pictures can be expensive and tends to use a lot of colored ink from the printer. Research online processing that you can send your files to for printing and you will be happy with the results. The compact size of the camera makes it ideal for travel.

QuickTake:

Pros: Easy to use and provides excellent quality photographs.
Cons: Keep the extra battery charged and ready to install.

Comments:
Nice, small package, convenient to carry, great shots, given the lens system and relatively modest pixel count CCD. Sure would like to see a top-mount hotshoe for an external flash, for red-eye reduction.

QuickTake:

Pros: Nice size, decent optics, very reasonable price
Cons: Needs more pixels (e.g., 3.3 megapixels), flash hotshoe
