Canon Powershot SD700 IS Review
by Cybernium
QuickTake:
Pros: Good white balance performance, Accurate focusing and exposure, Low image noise up to ISO 400, Nice image colors, Fast and responsive, Great low-light LCD visibility
Cons: Some barrel distortion at wide-angle, Some corner softness, Weak flash, Poor battery life, Red eye problems, High noise at ISO 800
I purchased the SD700 IS to replace another camera that was being repaired. I always carry a small camera in my purse. I had to use this at two events and in all conditions it was worth its price in gold. Low light - fast movement - no blurr (as of yet).
For someone who wants a point and shoot, something easy, something that they can put in their shirt pocket, pant pocket or purse and wants to get clear shots, then I highly recomment this camera.
The charger is a plus because it is small and you just simply place the battery in it and plug it in the wall (no longer wires or docking stations) to clutter up your desk so it is also nice for travel.
