Product Rating: 3.00 star(s) warranty coverage

Comments:
Casio refuses to honor warranty coverage even thought the camera was purchased 9 months ago. last month the lens jammed, upon further inspection three screws in the base of the camera were missing causing the camera case to be partially open, allowing dirt and dust to get inside the camera body. Casio tells me that this is not a manufacturing defect so it is not coverd. I don't know about casio but if three screws fell off the motor mounts on my car you bet that it would be covered and considered a manufacturing defect. Just check out Ebay and see how many of these cameras are listed as used and defective. Makes you wonder what kind of product Casio is putting out there.

QuickTake:

Pros: Great little camera
Cons: poor product coverage and manufacturing
Has Owned Product: 9 Month(s)

Review Verdict:
Despite their small size, Casio cameras have historically offered among the largest screens in their respective class. With the S500 that was unfortunately not the case, and the screen remains unchanged in the S600. It's not bad, mind you; you get a nice ...

Review Verdict:
While not as pretty or quite as responsive as Canon's sublime Ixus range, the Casio Exilim EX-S600 has a classy allure all of its own. It doesn't offer a wide array of shooting options, but it has excellent specifications and is easy to use. It's also inc ...
