I've had this camera for a year, and as the title suggests, the battery cover is poorly designed. It has recently broke, and I see no way to fix it...as it is broke-broke. Decent enough little camera, and affordable, but I cant recommend it at this point.

I bought this at Christmas for my daughters trip to Europe this summer and it broke halfway through the trip. It was very erratic taking normal pictures at one place and pink and green pictures the next.
<br>I have had a sony for three years without a problem including it falling in the river on a kayaking trip. The Sony has never let me down. I doubt I'll ever buy another Kodak the quality just isn't there anymore.

I like that this camera allows the choice for automatic functions or manual settings (e.g. ISO Speed and Exposure Compensation). It can function as a simple "point-and-shoot" or you can set the camera to give you precisely the effects you are looking for
