Product Rating: 4.00 star(s) Great camera for anyone

Comments:
The photos a great and very easy to work with. The preview screen allows me to see the photo first and I can decide right then if I want to keep it or not. I love that I can use it with or without a memeory card this really makes it easy on the wallet as well. I would definitly recomment this camera to any one especially if they are looking for one that is simple to use. No 4 year degree needed to operate this camera.

QuickTake:

Pros: uses 2 AA batteries, great quality photos
Cons: dock not included with camera

Product Rating: 5.00 star(s) Fantastic general-use camera...

Comments:
I bought my CX7430 camera for $159 after using one for several months at work. We us it at work to collect photographic evidence; the camera consistently performs well and produces quality pictures worthy of use in court. At home, it is easy enough for my kids to use and capable of capturing quality pictures with their limited ability to take pictures. I love everything about the camera, but the software it comes with is quite limited in ability. I would recommend using quality photo-editing software with the CX7430.

QuickTake:

Pros: Fantastic pictures, a breeze to use with good options.
Cons: Software isn't as easy to use as it could be.

Product Rating: 5.00 star(s) Kodak CX7430-Great Camera for Anyone

Comments:
This is a great camera for anyone who wants to delve into digital pictures! Easy to use and fairly intuitive. Good sized viewer - what you see if what you get. Works great with the printer-dock! Pics come out great! Easy downloads to PC. Would like slightly better editting software - maybe something to reduce the size of the pics once on the pc, but not a big problem. Price is good - very competitive. If you need a digital camera and don't want to spend too much but want great quality and versatility - this is the one!

QuickTake:

Pros: Easy to use, intuitive, small but not too small
Cons: None

Comments:
We have been using this camera for several years and it takes great pictures. One down side is the time that is takes to capture a picture from the time that you press the button. Otherwise it takes GREAT pictures. The closeup option is wonderful. The sport shots turn out great too!

QuickTake:

Pros: Takes great close ups
Cons: Mechanics for the lens opeing too fragile.

Product Rating: 5.00 star(s) Kodak makes a real camera again.

Comments:
This has to be the best feeling digital point and shoot yet from Kodak. Certainly the best I have used. It is .65 seconds from push to click. (But I wish I could bypass the power on screen) How about it Kodak, a firmware upgrade?

Kodak was the first with the Digital Science camera's which the DS10 was not even very useful.

But now Kodak has come out with the Easy Share series they have done away with digital. Controls now are as they should have always been. Just like a point and shoot. Like Tektronics with osciliscopes Kodak has started to discover people Like an analog interface that runs just the same as all the old camera's. In software this is called the principal of least surprise. Unlike our friends at Sony who seem to like a Vaio approach. With any luck they will rediscover the Nikon F2 and Canon A1 (which oddly enough they made the first professional digital backs for.)

QuickTake:

Pros: Best feeling digital camera I have used yet. Fast shoot.
Cons: Non-adjustable contrast brightness on finder.
