The A200 takes very good still photos. They are clear, bright, and colorful. Even at night. Although, I bought the camera because of my one year old. Little ones are active and very energetic, constantly moving. The A200 does not let me take the picture the moment I need it to. My only problem with the camera is that by the time I push the button, to the acctual time the camera takes the picture, the moment has past. It just takes way, way too long.
QuickTake:
Pros: The A200 takes great still photos, day or night.
Cons: The A200 takes too long to take the picture.

Konica Minolta DiMAGE A200
by Eamon Hickey and Lori Grunin
Comments:
This competent 8-megapixel camera sacrifices the great EVF and the speed of the Dimage A2 but keeps the rest....
Pros: Versatile flip-and-swivel LCD; manual rings for zoom and focus; antishake image stabilization; comprehensive exposure controls and image adjustments.
Cons: Mediocre EVF; subpar low-light AF performance; long RAW and RAW-and-JPEG shot-to-shot times.
