Decided to wait until we had owned the diswasher for a lengthy period of time before writing a review, to be sure the first impressions were lasting ones. We purchased our Bosch at Lowes, and it was installed within a couple days by 2 very efficient installers. They, in fact, commented at how much they liked to install Bosch dishwashers because of how much easier they are to install due to the type of insulation Bosch uses over other makes. Which takes me to the next subject; how quiet this dishwasher is. I swear, you sometimes have to stop and listen to be sure it's running. I don't think you can find a quieter unit. Some of the reviews I read before purchasing the Bosch complained that the dishes weren't completely dry when the cycle is complete. We have never had this problem. Bosch emphasises the importance of using a rinse agent, which we do, and the dishes are always dry. Plastics often will have droplets, but that's not unusual. Dishes, pots and pans always come clean, no matter how much crud was cooked on to them. These dishwashers use about half the water our previous diswashers used, and because there is no heating element, they save evergy too. The adjustable and removable top shelf is very handy for tall items. Lastly, this dishwasher uses a very small amount of detergent to get most loads clean.
