I owned this unit for 3 years, it proved to be of very poor quality and after 3 years broke, leaving me with DVD's that I recorded that were no good as they would not play on any other DVD player that I own. I tried several times contacting the manufacturer but they were no help, I'm guessing that they were aware of this unit's built in problems. A definite DO NOT BUY!
