Do not buy unless you need a home fax for very infrequent use and expect no frills. It is cheap in every sense and not worth its price.

I have only had it for 5 days, had to read the owners manual several times but It works fine and is a good purchase for the money.

I 100 agree with skeedat|, Panasonic quality here in USA is a total trash and garbage!!! I can`t understand why, in Europe though Panasonic products are very compatitive with other brands like Sony. May be they make this trash for U.S. in some other country?? 3 years ago i bought ALL Panasonic products: TV`s, Video`s, DVD, cordless Phones etc. NOW it`s all gone! What a crap they are making! After 25 months of use laser head in my Panasonic DVD is gone - garbage, Panasonic Video player - broken, i replaced 3 (three!) different panasonic cordless phones - very poor quality! Finally I bought a cordless Motorola and am happy with this. My big screen TV (Panas.) is making funny noises now i think very soon i`ll need to replace it. Slowly I replace all my panasonic appliences with SONY (which is 1000 times better than panasonic). You want to hear my tip? DON`T BUY PANASONIC!!!

What a nightmare Panasonic is. The item is defective. One of the paper feeding gears is missing causing this brand new machine not to feed paper. Rather than burden the store I decided it would be simple enough just to have it repaired under warranty. I called Panasonic who refuses to honor the warranty eventhough I faxed my receipt and tracking information. They claim my receipt isn't a receipt (go figure). Instead they recommended I just stick the store with this broken machine. This is the second time I've been bitten by garbage from Panasonic (first was a DVD player they wouldn't repair under warranty even when I supplied a receipt). NEVER AGAIN will I ever touch a Panasonic product...NEVER. And I'll be sure to recommend to everyone I run into not to buy Panasonic products.

the only problem with it is when you have voice mail through phone company it will not recive automatically. if you get distintive ring problem is fixed. my price was 4.50 a month with is around avarage. pros are never breaks, keeps faxes in mem if outof paper or film,good customer support, good qulity print compared to rest of plain paper fax machines, real cheap., built better than all the older models. probally the best one they make. i was extremly satisfied with it and have bough alot of them formy busness
