Out of the several home slicers I have used, this is by far the easiest and best one I've used so far. It isn't cheaply made like some of the others, and I found it very easy to clean. The only thing I didn't like was while slicing some meats I found that the meat slipped a little (used different sized Italian dry sausages) and caused a rounded effect on the meat, therefore not slicing all the way thru. Other than that, I love it.

<br>We couldn't find the on/off switch immediately, but that's because we were looking for the standard type switch. I like the innovative plate idea instead because when you take your hand off the guide, it auto shuts off. I think this will lead to far less injuries caused by carelessness.
