The Captain Recommends the Garmin Nuvi 650 Auto GPS

Garmin Nuvi 650 Auto GPS is my second Garmin GPS. My other is for Maritime navigation. The display, and intuitiveness of the system is fantastic. It is very accurate, and when you miss a turn it instantly recalculates an alternate route. Whenever I have to go to a new place and it asks for the address, only a few keystrokes and the Nuvi auto completes. I can take it with me in other cars, use it walking around the city or on the trails. The battery seems to last very long. In fact I charge it at home and use it without being plugged into my power outlet for almost 4 hours at a time. Once it is charged, and I can leave it on the table for days on end and pick it up and turn it on and it still has a full charge. It links with satellites in only a minute, and it amazes me that it is so accurate, it is in my driveway on a corner street exactly where it is parked. When you start your journey, it gives a read out as to what time you should arrive, and it is very accurate, and updates as you go.
