The contrast needs improved, and you have to type in most of the street name before it will pull it up. Other than that, it's a great GPS. I couldn't find a better price anywhere. It was delivered when promised, and worked right out of the box.

The Nuvi 780 is a graet unit! it is easy to use, the bluetooth portion is easy as heck to setup and use. The only drawback I have note dis the MSN Direct feature. I live in Bel Air MD about 20 mile north of Baltimore, and it does not get a good MSN signal.

The wide, bright screen is great for glancing over to keep an eye on your route. I like the fact that you can choose different voice accents for the voice guide and the option to download more. MSN direct also helps w/ weather forecast, traffic and gas prices, but these days gas prices change so often, it is hard to rely on that feature. Unit is light and doubles as an MP3 player when you put your songs on an SD card. The songs only sound good through the FM transmitter though. Overall, even though the nuvi 680 isn't perfect, I think it is better than most of the newer Garmins and definately better than the competition.

This is a must have for travelers. Bought one for my son for Christmas. When I found out how easy and convienent it was to use I knew I had to have one for myself. Tells you exactly where to go. No needs for maps. Gives local weather info. Gives estimate

It is well worth the investment to get an upgraded model. The functionality of the bluetooth, mp3 and all of the various features make this Garmin extremely user friendly. Recently I was returning from a trip to the shore and got hungry. Three taps and I had directions to a Seafood Restaurant which was marvelous and within 5 minutes of my location! Then I encountered a traffic delay on my way home...the system automatically recalculated my route and I got home in record time.
