"Lost-Not"

I am pleased with the price. My sister bought the next model up and paid 3X the amount for a few extras that are nice. I got more bang for the buck.

Cons: Beware of the avoidances. clicked them all and took me all the back roads. Avoided highways. Duh

Great value, great device

This was a remanufactured device that is simple to use, meets my need for directions to places we travel and the price was terrific. I was impressed enough to order the same device for my wife's car.

Cons: Very seldom it takes a bit longer than I want to acquire the satellite--usually when I'm leaving a parking deck.

Garmin Rocks!

I've looked at other GPS systems, and I couldn't pass this up for the price. I bought a reconditioned unit for $99 with a 2-year extended warranty. Compare that to a $499 unit that you still need to purchase the latest maps for, and it makes this a downright steal! It works great, great battery life, charged from my laptop or from the cigarette lighter. Very reliable, although sometimes it may take a little while to acquire a satellite (usually when I need it the most)

Cons: latest software and upgrades should have been applied as I just bought it. Cost of maps is a little extreme.

I got this for my husband for Christmas. I have used it more than he has as I travel for work. It is much better than carrying around lots of maps and keeps destinations in it's memory so you don't have to enter it again. On one or two occasions, I lost

this is my first gps , so I cant compare to others, i love it so far, but havent tried to update the maps yet. I had to screw the holder to my dash, suction cup kept falling off windshield. I have recommended it and will again. so far.
