Comments:
We had been looking for awhile to find the right GPS for our needs. After narrowing it down to 2 options (both Magellan) we settled on this one since it had the AAA service and the reconditioned unit was reasonably priced.

QuickTake:

Pros: It gives me so many options and I like the bigger screen.
Cons: Haven't found any problems yet.

Product Rating: 4 star(s) Magellan finds great small Lake Rucker in the Sierras

, Jun. 5, 2008
Comments:
I found it useful when trying to get to a new location. My husband uses it much more than I do. He tends to want to put in even input places we have been to in the past just to test it. There are times when I think the shortest route is more like the most out of the way route. Instead of following it if I am driving and have some sense of where I am going I will cause it to have to constantly refigure the route.

QuickTake:

Pros: It is good in letting you know where you are at any time or place. Should not get lost with it.
Cons: Some of the cities need to have addresses updated. Even some addesses that are several years old.

Product Rating: 1 star(s) Disappointed in Magellan Maestro 4250, sent back

, May. 28, 2008
Comments:
I liked the ease of the user interface; it wasn't difficult at all to master. The map screen needed a lot of improvement. The fact that it got street names wrong that were more than a few decades old, said addresses were on the opposite side of the street that they were actually on and went into voice-recognition mode completely unprompted forced me to send it back.

QuickTake:

Pros: Preview screen pops up to show difficult maneuvers; easy to learn user interface; AAA information so
Cons: Frequently announced address on incorrect side of street; got street names wrong; graphics looked

Product Rating: 2 star(s) WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

Comments:
I pent hours on hold on the phone trying to use their Trade-In program to exchange my broken old Magellan to a new one. They were supposed to charge me $305.00 and they charged me $433.99. Then, my new GPS is more expensive than if I had ordered directly

QuickTake:

Pros: Not a bad system
Cons: Awful voice and speakers
